The Importance of Being Ernest Hemingway (2008)

A workshop production of The Importance of Being Ernest Hemingway performed at chashama @ 217, May 2-4, 2008.  It was M-34's inaugural production and ultimately led to a larger-scale remix in 2013 (full production).  It was produced by M-34 in collaboration with Risa Shoup of chashama.

 

Scenery by Will Fulton, lighting and sound by Todd Lipcon, original music by Alex Clifford, stage management by Alexandra Lubensky, and fight choreography by Chris Bremner.

 

The cast featured Alex Clifford (Lane), Ross Cowan (Algernon), Andrew Fox (Chasuble), Charlotte Graham (Cecily), Jonathan Harris (Merriman), Aja Nisenson (Bracknell), Michelle Oing (Gwendolyn), Elliot B. Quick (Jack) and Anika Schwarzwald (Prism).
