Macbett

Eugène Ionesco

Macbett performed at Brown University Leeds Theater, February 24-28, 2007.  It was in an original translation from the French, and the adaptation incorporated sections from Victor Hugo's French translation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth.  It was produced by Chris O'Neil under the auspicies of Brown University Theater.

 

Scenery by Jesse Cohen, lighting by Justin Spiegel, costumes by Xephyr Zanzabar and Janet Minichiello, original music and sound by Todd Lipcon, props by Allison Grubbs, stage management by Amanda Glassman and Diana Wollach, and technical direction by Alex Surasky-Ysasi.

 

The cast featured Ross Cowan (Banco/Macol), Sargon deJesus (Soldier), Andrew Evans (Soldier), Devin Gould (Soldier), Patrick Harrison (Duncan), Jessie Hopkins (Lady-in-Waiting), Albert Huber (Soldier), Michael Obremski (Macbeth), Michelle Oing (Lady Macbeth), Elliot B. Quick (Macbett), Bentley Rubenstein (Glamiss), Charly Simpson (Candor) and Anne Troup (Lady Duncan).
